OsteoCync contains undenatured collagen type II, boosts collagenation of both cartilage & subchondral bone. L-citrulline and vitamin E improve the inherent subchondral bone pathology. L-citrulline is an extended-release NO donor with 4X half-life than conventional L-arginine and thus can lead to consistent vasodilation in the neovascularized channels in affected subchondral bone, leading to improved oxygen and nutrient supply. Regulates the excessive expression of VEGF & NGF and thereby reduces pain. Post metabolism, L-citrulline converts itself into collagen through ornithine cycle to deposit additional collagen in the subchondral bone and then through diffusion into overlying degenerating cartilage, leading to enhanced regeneration of subchondral bone and then cartilage. Magnesium helps vitamin D3 levels & Ca mineralization, improves muscle strength, endothelial function & blood flow and regulates pain pathway. Astaxanthin & L-glutamine help activate Th2 cells, boosts osteoblast activity & chondrocyte proliferation, increases GABA and alleviates pain symptoms. It helps in early & advanced osteoarthritis, osteoarthritis in productive middle age, metabolic osteoarthritis, post-traumatic arthritis, osteoporosis associated with osteoarthritis, before TKA to prevent peri-prosthetic fracture, post-TKA to prevent subsidence of prosthesis, pre-TKA preparation, post-TKA recovery and rheumatoid arthritis.

Composition: Undenatured Collagen Type II, L-Citrulline, Astaxanthin, Magnesium, L-Glutamine and Vitamin E Tablets.

Description: OsteoCync aids the repair process in an osteoarthritic joint by strengthening the osteochondral connect. L-citrulline favorably exploits the neovascularization to improve oxygenation and nutrient supply, boosting collagenation of both cartilage & subchondral bone. It also helps reduce pain and improves quality of life. Helps in painful osteoarthritis by supporting osteochondral connect.
