Supracal K2®

Supracal K2
Supracal K2® offers superior calcium, calcium citrate, which is pH-independent, dosing-time independent and can be taken any time, before or after food in contrast to other calcium sources. Calcitriol and vitamin K2-7 help in preventing and recovering from fractures. Indicated for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis and in patients with fractures. Vitamin K2-7 prevents aberrant calcium deposition in the high-risk elderly population and prevents risks of atherosclerosis, making it safe for long-term use in patients with CVD (cardiovascular disease) or heart disease.

Composition: Vitamin K2-7, Calcitriol and Calcium Citrate Tablets.

Description: Supracal K2®, which is indicated in patients with fracture contains calcium citrate, the best absorbed calcium with minimal risk of renal calculi formation on chronic use despite delivering a higher quantity of calcium in the body and bone. Supracal K2® offers calcitriol, which is the active form of vitamin D3 supporting calcium absorption and bone deposition. Vitamin K2-7 offers more efficient calcium deposition in bone, rather than depositing calcium in unintended places, such as in walls of blood vessels. Thus, Supracal K2® offers better bone health and recovery without causing any hardening of the arteries due to calcium.

Dosage form: Film coated tablet.
